As shown in the picture, this cover lifter mounts to the side of the hot tub. Before purchasing assess your spa frame behind the skirt to ensure that there is a solid wood structure to mount the brackets to. The mounting brackets hold the entire weight of the cover which does not allow them to be fastened to just the plastic skirt material without any solid structure behind it.
